$0 - $145

The Faith Formation Team is excited to jump into a new school year wtih you and your children. We have lots of new and exciting things planned for the 2017-2018 school year.

It is through the next generation that St. Joseph Parish in Cockeysville, Maryland will become a welcoming, diverse, vibrant, and authentic parish that will be a beacon of Christian witness to Northern Baltimore County and beyond.

To help reach this vision, St. Joseph Catholic Parish offers relationaly-based ministry to help children and teenagers learn more about their Catholic faith and a relationship with God. The way we do that is through our programs detailed below:

Faith Formation (Pre-K through Grade 5)

Traditional (Classroom Setting)--Saturday 5:30 to 6:45pm;

Contemporary (Large & Small Group Settings)--Sunday 10:15 to 11:30am

Our Faith Formation is for children who want to learn more about a God who loves them and a Church that will help them get to know Him.

Children in faith formation (Pre-K through Grade 5) have the option to sign up for Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

Edge (Middle School) -- Grades 6 through 8

The Underground (High School) -- Grades 9 through 12

Catholics in Annapolis

February 22nd, 2018

Join Maryland’s bishops and hundreds of fellow Catholics for the Maryland Catholic Conference’s 34th Annual Catholics in Annapolis on Thursday, February 22.

Catholics in Annapolis provides parishioners the opportunity to speak in person with elected officials about issues important to our faith, such as caring for the poor, supporting low-income students in Catholic schools, and physician-assisted suicide. It is one of the best attended advocacy events in Annapolis, and the format, which includes an evening reception with legislators, allows everyone to gather in one place and convey the strong engagement of Catholics in matters of public policy.

3:00 - 4:30 p.m. The event begins at St. John Neumann Mission Church (620 N. Bestgate Road) with briefings on the relevant issues considered by the General Assembly from a faith perspective.

5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Shuttles will be provided to downtown Annapolis where you can meet your legislators. Legislators will be alerted that you will be visiting their offices between 5:00-6:30 p.m. If you don’t see them in their offices, you will at the reception!

6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Then, join members of the General Assembly, the Maryland bishops, and other Church leaders at for a reception in the Miller Senate Office Building.

The event is free but registration is required.

Participants are welcome to attend the reception even if they can’t participate in the briefings or legislator meetings earlier in the day.

For those who wish to attend the entire event and carpool together, we will meet at the Parish Center at 1:30 pm and leave for Annapolis at 1:45 pm.

For more information contact Kati Atencio at or call the parish office (410) 683-0600.
